Systems.The Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
individual will be responsible for all SIOP planning for the
Navigation and Sensor Solutions (NSS) product line, which is a
rapidly growing portfolio of current and next generation advanced
military navigation systems based in the greater Cedar Rapids, Iowa
area. This high visibility position will be responsible for
developing our strategic manufacturing plan to meet our sales and
inventory goals. This position will report directly to the
Navigation & Sensor Systems Operations
Director.Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and analyze schedules, taking the lead to
plan, track, analyze and report on project schedules of varying
size and complexity, both US Government and Commercial
- Interact daily with program management team members (Finance,
Ship Superintendents, Project Managers, Program Managers,
Production Managers, Safety, and Quality Dept.), team members and
Government customer employees
- Provide key support to project and program management efforts,
monitoring work flow, coordinating and tracking schedule and
identifying key project delivery risks and issues
- Develop and maintain the master delivery schedule (MDS) using
Oracle
- Executes and manages Short Lead Time simulations (SLT)
- Support the BAE Systems Program Management Office to achieve or
exceed business objectives
- Provide critical path analysis and create "what if" scenarios;
provide recommendations to leadership and project owners to achieve
scheduling targets
- Help technical experts establish milestones and provide support
to monitor adherence to the master schedule by identifying
programmatic problems and providing recommended solutions
- Recommend and lead scheduling best practices and process
improvements
- Serve as a spokesperson on scheduling performance to the
baseline and schedule maturity
- Manages overall and manufacturing lead times
- Internal and external audit focal point for scheduling and
sales alignmentRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years' experience.
In absence of a degree, 5-6 years of relevant experience is
required
- Experience within Operations in a manufacturing

InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $87700 - $149100Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
